P is for ..... Passion and Prioritising

This is a work of fiction and forms a part of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. I will attempt to write a new story based on the word for the day every day during the month of April.

A mother to Priya outside the school-
“Let’s catch up over coffee someday.”
“Is there something important to discuss?”

Her colleagues to Priya-
“Why don’t you join us for a drink tonight?”
“I really can’t. Need to rush back home.”

A dancer in her troup to Priya-
“Staying back after the show?”
“Would love to, but can’t.”

They called her “Cinderella”, because she always disappeared when her work was done. But Priya didn’t mind. When you are a mother and a journalist and a dancer, and are equally passionate about all three, you survive only if you learn to prioritize.

______

A Drabble is a story told in exactly 100 words.

a lovely post thank you Natasha but how does one choose which one to prioritise? Family I guess - and the coffee and drinks with friends and colleagues whenever?

I really need to Drabble, the discipline alone would be so worth while!

Nice to meet you Natasha via the A to Z

Natasha - That's the thing. There are only so many hours in a day, and when you have multiple passions, you just don't have the time to do everything. You've expressed this brilliantly.
